That's the whole note. Here's the rest of what you need: what comes in the box, which size and what it costs.
Cut-out letters. No signature. Get Mom this. That's the whole note, and frankly it's all the instructions you need.
You have a busy month. She says she wants nothing. You have one gift left to sort out, so we'll keep this simple. Follow the instructions and nobody gets another scarf.
She means don't spend money on me. She means I don't need one more thing to dust. She doesn't mean she wants to sit there empty-handed while everyone else opens something.
What she's short of is a place for all of it: the lists, the clippings, the things she keeps meaning to tell you. One woman texted us in October, "I have so many slips of paper stuffed in my bag." This is where the slips go.
It arrives in a linen travel bag. Inside: the premium leather cover, two 76-page inserts (one lined, one blank), a clear zipper organizer insert for the tickets and notes you want to hold onto, and the charm you choose. US shipping is free.
Not in the box: a pen, the clips, the ribbon, the stickers and the extra charms you see in our photos. Grid and planner inserts are sold separately.
A dated journal is a strange present. By February there's a row of empty squares in it, and your gift is one more thing she's behind on. The Momento has no printed dates, no prompts and no boxes to fill. She can skip a week or a whole season, and the next page is just the next page.
One woman texted us in October, "I like the idea of not dated so I don't have to beat myself up if I miss some days." Nobody should get that feeling from a present.
The clear zipper organizer is where the ticket stub goes, and the note from the grandkid, and the recipe torn out of a magazine. "I collect meaningful quotes, little photos that catch my fancy, appointment cards...feathers I find," one woman told us in a comment in October.
When the pages are used up, the insert slides out and a new one slides in, and the cover stays. Refills start at $12, about 76 pages each. The lifetime warranty covers the binding, the cover and the hardware.
The Pocket cover is 4.25 x 6.89 in (108 x 175 mm), with pages of 90 x 163 mm. It's the one for her purse, so it goes where she goes. The Classic is 4.72 x 7.87 in (120 x 200 mm), with pages of 105 x 190 mm. That's the one for longer entries at the kitchen table.
Will your own inserts fit? Traveler's Notebook Passport inserts fit both sizes. A6 and Hobonichi Weeks fit the Classic only. A5 and B6 are too big for either.
The Momento is 50% off right now: the Pocket from $69 and the Classic from $89. The charm is free, US shipping is free, and you have easy 100-day returns.
You're the one who knows she didn't mean it. Choose a size and a charm. Before you wrap it, write one line on the first page. Try this one: You said not to.
The complete starter kit. Your leather cover in the size and color you pick, two 76-page Daolin inserts (one lined, one blank), an organizer insert for cards, stamps, photos, or loose notes, and a linen travel bag. Restock Event adds a complimentary charm. Everything you need to start writing on day one.
A Moleskine is a notebook. You fill it, finish it, buy another. A Midori is a traveler's notebook system designed around buying inserts separately. Momento is the refillable cover plus a complete starter kit in one box, with US shipping and a lifetime warranty. Same cover, new pages, forever.
Pocket if you carry it daily and write in shorter sessions. Back pocket, jacket, small purse. Classic if you sit down to write. Letters, longer entries, sketching, planning. Pocket fits anywhere. Classic gives you room to breathe.
Pocket fits a back pocket, small purse, or jacket pocket. Classic is a bit larger than the size of a paperback and lives in a tote or purse.
Each insert has 76 pages of smooth, high-quality Daolin paper. It is fountain-pen friendly with minimal bleed-through and feathering, so it handles everything from a pencil or gel pen to a wet fountain nib beautifully.
Slide the used insert out, slide a new one in. Refills start at $12, about 76 pages each. Most customers set them on a 3-month cadence and stop thinking about it. Skip, pause, change cadence, or cancel from your account anytime. No phone calls, no retention scripts.
Binding failure, cover failure, and hardware like the grommets. If something structural breaks, we replace it for free immediately, no shipping fee.
Yes. Every Momento ships in a gift-ready linen bag, so you can hand it over as-is. It's our most-gifted product. If you're unsure on color, Bordeaux and Mocha are safe picks for someone whose taste you don't know well.
Try Momento for 100 days. If you don't fall in love, easy 100-day returns. Just email help@stillarchive.com and we'll take care of it.
