Your grandmother knew this.
It could have hung over her stove in cross stitch: write it down before you forget it. She wrote everything down. The recipe on the back of an envelope, who sent a card, the year the pipes froze.
One woman told us in a comment in September, "Received my first journal from my grandmother when I was 8 years old. Sixty-one years later I still journal daily." Give her real pages, the way somebody once gave them to you. No printed dates, and pages she can swap when they fill up.
